DAY 1: Cote Rôtie, Condrieu & St Joseph
In the most northerly part of the Rhône Valley, visit one of the most prestigious winery and discover their large range of wines.
Enjoy a lunch in a gastronomic restaurant where the Chef, in the finest tradition of Lyon, serves succulent, flavoursome cuisine with a superb choice of fine, local wines: Condrieu, Côte Rôtie, Saint Joseph and other famous Rhône Valley appellations are all on the wine list.
After the break, wine tasting in the steepiest vineyards of Côte Rôtie and Condrieu, a magic place to have a glass of wine !
Visit an organic production estate in St Joseph, Côte Rôtie and Condrieu AOC in Chavannay, the last St Joseph AOC’s village.
DAY 2: Hermitage & Crozes-Hermitage
A little stroll on the mythic Hermitage Hill with the appelations introduction (terroir, grape varieties…) and a white wine tasting among the vines.
Hermitage wine tasting and lunch at one of the most famous estate of the area.
After lunch, visit a family estate in Crozes-Hermitage, the most popular appellation of the Northern Rhône Valley
On the right bank of the Rhône River, discover an estate in St Joseph, the longest AOC in the area. Enjoy the wine tasting with a French “casse-croûte” (delicatessen and cheeses from Ardèche).
DAY 3: Cornas & Tournon
A little walk in Cornas vineyards with an introduction to the appelations (terroir, grape varieties…) and a red wine tasting among the vines.
Visit and taste wines from one of the most famous estate in Cornas or St Peray AOC .
Lunch in a local wine bar
A little stroll in Tournon and visit a winery in the birthplace of St Joseph AOC (Mauves, Tournon…).
The Northern Rhône Valley is famous for its biodynamic wine production. Meet and discover the philosophy of one of the best producers working on this way .
