The chateau Estoublon is a domain at the foot of the Vallée des Baux de Provence. It is a large property of over 100 acres dedicated to olive trees classified in the AOC Vallee des Baux. Strolling through the park or in their shop, we will taste both their wines and olive oils.

Their chef Thibaut Serin Moulin has earned 3 Gault et Milau chefs hats. Located near St Remy de Provence overlooking the Alpilles, the hotel and spa are a stones’ throw from the Van Gogh route. Lunch includes a three-course menu with beverages.
Free time to explore the charming town of les Baux de Provence.
Cellar visit and tasting at Chateau Romanin, one of the top attractions around Saint-Remy de Provence. This beautiful wine estate stands isolated in the middle of vines, olive and almond trees. It has a breathtaking tasting cellar buried in rocks under the ruins of 13C Knights Templars’ castle. Enjoy the beautiful view of the vineyards and the Alpilles from a newly constructed tasting room and terrace above the chateau’s wine cellars. A tasting of 5 wines will be served with some savory snacks.
Return to Marseille.
Depart in the morning towards the Bandol region.
Visit the Domaine de Fregate, between St Cyr sur Mer and Bandol. The vineyards are perched on the hills overlooking the sea, perfectly situated provides several great advantages; the climate, a high level of sunshine, the diversity of soils, which favor the AOC Bandol wines.
The vineyard is 26ha of clay and limestone, and stones, rich in siliceous elements, extremely arid with a very low yield. This area is shielded from harsh weather by the natural mountainous amphitheatre. Their main grape varieties are Mourvedre (75%), Grenache and Cinsault.
Visit and tasting of the red, rosé and white wines in the Bandol appellation.
Lunch in the private room of the two Michelin star gastronomic restaurant La Villa Madie in Cassis.
Enjoy a tour and a tasting at a top Casis producer Clos Sainte Magdeleine, renowned for their fresh white wines. This is one of the oldest AOC Cassis vineyards and the only one set right at the water’s edge. This spectacular location adds to the quality, natural flavour and typical character of the wines. This exceptional organic estate is situated in the Calanques National Park, well known for its wonderful landscapes and its wide biodiversity.
The vineyard, founded at the end of the 19th century, received a gold medal for its white wine at the Universal Exhibition of 1900 in Paris. The estate of Clos Saint Magdeleine has belonged to the Zafiropulo family since 1920, but the wine growing in the region goes back to antiquity, when the Greeks imported it from Provence. The estate possesses a vast underground cellar, which creates perfect conditions for wine making and conservation.
Return to your hotel in Marseille in the afternoon. Time to relax before dinner.
Dinner at le Miramar, a popular restaurant situated on the Vieux port of Marseille and well known for its bouillabase, which is a specialty of the area.
Morning Ctiy Tour of Marseille and then continue driving to Château La Coste, Le Puy Ste Reparade
This exceptional vineyard covers 250 acres of vines and olive groves. In 2004 an idea was born to create a special place where contempoary art and architecture meet the land. The new cellars designed by French architect, Jean Nouvel are worth the visiting alone. On the Art and Architecture walk you will meet the works of well known artists and architects like Frank Gehry, Guggi, Prouve and Tunga and Calder, just to name a few.
Visit Chateau La Coste's cellars followed by a wine and cheese Lunch outside weather permitting. Afterwards an “Art and Architecture Walk” around the property.
After lunch depart towards Avignon, where your River Ship awaits.
