Meet your group wine tour and depart for Margaux. On the way to your first visit in a premium Margaux chateau, your guide will introduce you to the Bordeaux wines, the famous 1855 classification, the" terroir", the grape varieties and how each of these elements can influence the flavour of wine. |
| 2:00 | Arrive at your first Classified Growth Chateau in the Margaux appellation for a visit and tasting. |
| 3:15 | Next your group will have a special chocolate tasting workshop in a local artisanal chocolate factory. |
| 4:15 | The last visit will be a Gourmet wine tasting with a visit in a Classified Growth Chateau in Margaux. Pairing food with wines is always a great way to end your Margaux wine tour. |
| 5:15 | Depart from Margaux to Bordeaux. |
| 5:45 | Arrive in Bordeaux. |

Practical information
Wear sensible shoes and layers. Cellars can be cool and we may walk through the vines.
Each Margaux visit last between 1 to 1-1/2 hrs. and is conducted by an English speaking guide in the chateaux. The visits cover the vines, grape varieties, wine making and end with a tasting of several wines.
NB: Tasting sizes are small in France, generally 2-3 oz.
